Sometimes you can’t resist the smell of watermelon, which is what we used to make this sugar scrub have the bubble gum flavor. Along with the sugar and honey mix, the scrub ends up smelling amazing.

You can use it as a lip scrub, a face scrub, or even a body scrub. Especially because the recipe uses skin safe food coloring, which won’t leave any color on your skin.

If your skin feels rough or has a dull color, it might be time to exfoliate it, which can be easy to do in the shower with a sugar scrub recipe.

Bubble gum sugar scrub ingredients

  • 1 Cup white sugar
  • 3 Drops of skin safe blue food coloring
  • 3 Drops of skin safe pink food coloring
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 4 Drops of watermelon flavoring

Keep in mind that you can play with this bubble gum sugar scrub. You can make each half a different color and have some fun with it.

You can combine green and purple, pink and yellow, or even orange and blue. It’s totally up to you.

Sugar scrub directions

Divide the sugar evenly into two separate bowls (1/2 cup each).

Add 1 tablespoon of honey and pink food coloring to one bowl, and then another tablespoon of honey and the blue food coloring in the other bowl.

Add two to four drops of watermelon flavoring to each bowl to taste and mix each well.

Then, take a small container and while tilted at an angle, add the blue sugar scrub to one half, shaping with your spoon. And then add the pink sugar scrub to the other side, and set with your spoon.

Seal and keep in fridge for about a month.
